Stinky car...

Currently I am driving a 16 year old Jeep. My Husband bought it brand new and it has been a wonderful vehicle all of these years. BUT, it has become the stinky car.



We have to pick our daughter up from school, because the school does not have busing. So, when the kids walk by our Jeep, they hold their noses. Our oil burning smell fumigates the whole parking lot. I'm sure whomever is behind us in line is surely sorry.



We are currently looking for a new vehicle, but it is bittersweet. I feel that our Jeep is a loyal and faithful friend, and we are somehow betraying her (yes her, I figure it must be a her since my husband bought the Jeep) When she stalls out I want to pound the dash board, but it's not nice to hit your friends or anyone for that matter. Especially if you want them to still be around.



I never thought I would be so happy driving an older vehicle. But the freedom and pride of driving an older car far out weighs the lure of a shiny new vehicle.

Last night I attended a Michigan Wedding & Event Professionals (MWEP) meetup. There I met a ton of wonderful people in the wedding industry and Brian from The Photobooth Company brought his photobooth!! Here are a couple of strips of Kristen (K.Holly Studios) and I.

During our Valentine's Day brownie exchange, I was able to grab a few pictures. My friend's son posed and made the most adorable faces!!

A good friend let me take pictures of his dog, trigger, for my photography class final. I so wish we could get a dog right now!! Hopefully in the next couple of years, but I did hear that trigger may become a daddy next year. So.....
